Italy’s Stelvio Pass is a many-cornered monster of a road, so thrilling to race along that Top Gear called it the “world’s best driving road”. It’s a tricky drive in daylight, so why have the petrolheads at IncWord.com done it in the dark with no headlights?
Well, they had a little help from Mercedes-Benz’s new Night View Assist Plus system – a infrared night vision camera built-in to the car that’s intended to help flag up obstacles such as children or animals.
The guys at IncWord took it a little further though, blocking out the Mercedes’ headlights and relying on Night View Assist Plus alone. It’s stunning to watch but in the classic Blue Peter-style: don’t try this at home.
